enriched ad

A banner ad that provides user interaction when clicked or when the cursor is rolled over it. There are several variations. For example, the banner may include multiple ads and links, or it might have a scroll bar that can be activated to reveal more information or products. When clicked, the ad might launch another window with a larger ad or a form to be filled out. See banner ad.
