| Automated error detection combines technologies of statistical pattern analysis, expert systems, and database verifications to provide an in-depth review of every policy at a low unit cost. They need to develop a systems approach that would increase knowledge and incentives for error detection, reporting and prevention while protecting the public from unsafe practice. When a computer receives a packet of information, it checks for errors by performing a calculation and comparing the result with the numerical value in the packet's header (see How TCP error detection works). |
