Laws governing the nature and extent of an owner's rights with respect to real and personal property. When used in connection with probate proceedings, it refers to the laws governing the disposition of the total property of whatever kind owned by a person at the time of death. Perfetto, founding partners of real estate law firm Cohen & Perfetto LLP, have been named by New York Super Lawyers magazine as two of the top attorneys in New York for 2009.
The Bureau of National Affairs (BNA; Arlington, VA) has begun the publication of "Real Estate Law & Industry Report," a new publication that consolidates news and developments on a range of issues that affect commercial real estate attorneys and professionals, including finance, equity and leasing, taxes, litigation, legislation and regulation.
Metz has worked in real estate law for 25 years, and previously work in the appeals bureau of the firm Borah, Goldstein, Altschuler, Nahins and Goidel.
