To test their hypothesis, the researchers tracked the estrous cycle in adult female rats.
The pregnancy rate at Hillwinds Farm increased due to an extra breeding plus a jump-start in the estrous cycle for some cows caused by the synchronization treatment.
These authors did not observe any test-substance-related effects on estrous cycle parameters or sperm morphology, motility, or epididymal sperm counts in the first parental generation.
