exfoliative erythroderma [eks‚fōl·ē‚ād·iv ə‚rith·rə′dər·mə]
(medicine)
A type of dermatitis that is characterized by widespread warm redness and scaling; nail degeneration and loss, hair loss, fever, chills, and enlargement of the lymph nodes may also occur.
