Parasites Parasites such as anchor worms, fish lice, flukes, and other parasites will increase in warm weather.
Fish Lice Fish lice are scientifically termed as argulus, and being about a centimeter in size, they are among the largest parasites found in the animal world.
The problems with non-organic fish lie in the levels of water pollutants and over-fishing in respect of sea fish and high levels of stocking in conventional fish farms, along with regular use of antibiotics to treat fish lice and dyes to change flesh colour.
