Located on the edge of a flood plain that was colonised for housing many years ago, today the river is almost untraceable, existing as a small stream along the westernmost edge of the site.
Haueter said that fact was previously communicated to residents who then voted for a smaller soccer field that could fit there, next to a flood plain and hillside.
Increase the current flood plain requirement, which represents a 1-in-100-year flood level, to a 1-in-500-year flood level.
