(engineering)
A door in sections that can be folded back or can be moved apart by sliding.

folding door
1. One of two or more doors which are hinged together so that they can open and fold in a confined space.
2. One of a pair of doors hung from the jambs of a single opening. Also see accordion door, multifolding door.
