There is a chemical loo and a waste-water collector, and the van has to be hooked up to an electricity supply - but it's just enough hands-on footering to remind you that it really is great outdoors.
As I sit bleary eyed with my cup of tea gazing out over yet another wet spring day I notice two guys - one in an Arthur Daly jacket, the other head to toe in black - looking a bit furtive as they wander round the gardens footering about with the gate.
Haven't they done well for themselves since being shunned by the Brookside residents for footering about with each other?
