gas oil [′gas ‚ȯil]
(materials)
A petroleum distillate boiling within the general range 450-800°F (232-426°C); usually includes kerosine, diesel fuel, heating oils, and light fuel oils.

Gas Oil 

fractions of petroleum that evaporate by boiling in the 200°-400° C range and, during petroleum distillation, occupy an intermediate position between kerosine and light industrial oils. Gas oil is used primarily as diesel fuel, raw material for catalytic cracking, and so on. Gas oil is not produced as a commercial product with precisely standardized constants.

The 146,000 bpd Ras Laffan plant produces 24,000 bpd of gas oil and 52,000 bpd of kerosene and jet fuel.
20 liters of unleaded gasoline 98 and 95 octane increased by 500 Lebanese Pounds, 20 liters of kerosene increased by 500 Lebanese Pounds, 20 liters of gas oil increased by 500 Lebanese Pounds, diesel oil increased by 500 Lebanese Pounds, ton of fuel oil for public increased by 12 American Dollars, ton of fuel oil (1% sulfur) increased by 14 American Dollars.
Iran has bought about 820,000 barrels of gas oil this month, and is in talks to ship two million barrels of the fuel in November as it starts to build stocks ahead of winter demand, AFP reported.
