Egeria (ējēr`ēə), in Roman religion and mythology, goddess or nymph of fountains. Consort and adviser of King Numa, she was also identified with Diana Diana (dīăn`ə), in Roman religion, goddess of the moon, forests, animals, and women in childbirth.
