Bournonite, geocronite, stibnite, orpiment and realgar are typical of this zone.
Arsenopyrite, geocronite and hubnerite have also been reported, but are quite rare.
Geocronite is a very rare mineral at Casapalca in specimen quality.
The red variety is associated with galena, geocronite and bournonite; the yellow variety with colusite, wurtzite and robinsonite.
