The FTSE4Good Global Index was launched by FTSE, an independent, UK-based index company that was originally a joint venture between the Financial Times and the London Stock Exchange. Global index provider FTSE Group and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT) have agreed to transfer the calculation and dissemination of the NAREIT Domestic Real Estate Index Series to FTSE and to rename it the FTSE NAREIT US Real Estate Index Series. Dow Jones Indexes (New York), a global index provider, will launch a series of select dividend indexes that will track the performance of companies in the major European markets based on their dividend yield. |
