GKD was commissioned to produce the back and side cladding of the main grandstand facade and the rear cladding of the two secondary grandstands. LANCASTER - The old grandstands from which generations of spectators watched the arena - for rodeos, concerts and demolition derbies over some 50 years - fell Tuesday to wrecking crews at the former Antelope Valley Fairgrounds. The sun would reflect off the diamonds and back into grandstands built into the openings of the buildings where tourists would gather for viewing purposes. |
