The biggest tour de force is the Dutch-language version of a Harmonists song that translates as "My Brother Makes the Noises for the Radio Play"; it includes the performance of a radio thriller with amazing vocal special effects.
In addition to illuminating the Harmonists, he hopes his study will demonstrate to scholars the benefit of using material culture to research others of the hundred of communes established in the US during the 19th century.
