high-level interface

    0.03 sec.

high-level interface

A programming interface (API) that provides more functionality within one command statement than a lower-level interface. High-level interfaces are designed to enable the programmer to write code in a shorter amount of time and to be less involved with the details of the software module or hardware device that is performing the required services. Contrast with low-level interface.
