hit rate

hit rate
The chief measurement of a cache, which is the percentage of all accesses that are satisfied by the data in the cache. Also known as "hit ratio." See cache and hits.
hit rate [′hit ‚rāt]
(computer science)
The ratio of the number of records found and processed during a particular processing run, to the total number of records available.

(architecture)hit rate - The fraction of all memory reads which are satisfied from the cache.
