Hot Jupiters are giant gas exoplanets with a mass greater than Jupiter's and orbit close to their parent star - sometimes closer than Mercury's orbit around our own Sun.
With his new project, Hot Jupiter, Curtis began experimenting with singing and found out he could do it just fine.
This so-called hot Jupiter, known as Upsilon Andromedae b, orbits its parent star at only about a tenth of the distance that Mercury resides from the sun.
