C11H13O3N A compound formed by the decomposition of hydrastine; crystallizes as needles from petroleum-ether solution, soluble in organic solvents such as alcohol, chloroform, and ether; used in medicine as a stimulant in coronary disease and as a hemostatic in uterine hemorrhage.
