What is hyperbolic about how the cartoonist shows this? Much of ``Dirt'' is hyperbolic and over-the-top -- even the ostensibly clean-cut characters are free-basers and closeted gays. However, the hyperbolic coverage of New Orleans' jazz legacy and Mardi Gras madness has persistently annoyed me. |
