Excessive pigment formation in the skin.
A condition in which cells or parts of cells stain more intensely than is normal.

10) In brief, a chondroma duplicates normal cartilage despite increased cellularity, but a chondrosarcoma exhibits pronounced irregularity in the number and size of cells and in the degree of hyperchromatism.
The histologic finding of ASL in our patient (Figure 1) shows large vascular spaces lined with atypical vascular epithelium and with polymorphism and hyperchromatism of cells.
