iPhone 3.0

    0.01 sec.
iPhone 3.0
The third version of Apple's iPhone operating system, introduced in June 2009. A raft of features were added, including cut, copy and paste, glaringly missing in previous versions, a global search, multiplayer gaming, turn-by-turn navigation (requires third-party app), upgrade purchasing within the application, push notifications (apps can be notified even if not running), multimedia messaging (MMS) and others. Required for the iPhone 3G S, iPhone 3.0 was also made available for the iPhone 3G and iPod touch. See iPhone.
