In a career filled with milestones, Thomas' animation included such classic moments as the first date and spaghetti dinner in ``Lady and the Tramp,'' Thumper teaching Bambi how to ice-skate, Pinocchio trapped in the bird cage by the evil puppeteer Stromboli, Captain Hook playing the piano in ``Peter Pan,'' and the dancing penguins in ``Mary Poppins,'' among others. In another wall piece, Sauser-Hall placed, on a small ledge, an ice-skate tote-bag covered in the same plaid fabric as Sans titre (Arthur) and titled Lac gele (Frozen lake, 1992). Our volunteers feed the hungry, remodel shelters, help children with disabilities to ice-skate, paint homes for elders and protect the environment. |
