iliofemoral ligament [‚il·ē·ō′fem·ə·rəl ‚lig·ə·mənt]
(anatomy)
A strong band of dense fibrous tissue extending from the anterior inferior iliac spine to the lesser trochanter and the intertrochanteric line. Also known as Y ligament.
