A look at acuity over time of our inpatients clearly shows a trend upward. We used a statewide, population-based antimicrobial resistance surveillance system to examine epidemiologic trends for MRSA from outpatients and inpatients in Hawaii. After the closure, there were about a half-dozen inpatients left, between three to four skilled nursing patients and two in the tuberculosis ward, union officials said. |
