Interleaf

Desktop publishing software that was widely used for DOS, Windows 95/98, NT, and a variety of Unix-based computers from Interleaf, Inc., Waltham, MA. Interleaf's full-featured program supported a large number of document and image types, including its ability to handle extremely long documents (tens of thousands of pages). Other products in its family provided enhanced document control and workgroup operation, as well as a relational document manager that provided document distribution and tracking.

In 2000, Interleaf, which had expanded its print software offering to e-content tools for the Web and wireless, was acquired by BroadVision, Inc., a supplier of integrated and personalized e-business applications. Interleaf's flagship software was renamed Quicksilver and became an integral part of BroadVision's suite of content management software.
