Largest fruit in the world... can weigh up to 80 lbs! It looks looks like a giant dinosaur egg with short, thorny spines on it, up to 3 ft long! (1m) The orange flesh is sweet and tart, like a cross between a mango and peach. High in fiber. Seeds edible also. Actually related to mulberries somehow. High in vitamin C for virus and bacteria protection, white blood cell support, rich in phytonutrients, lignans, isoflavones and saponins which have anti-cancer and anti-aging properties. Anti-ulcer properties, helps constipation, cleaning colon. Used for healthy eyes,(macular degeneration, night blindness), skin, energy, heart support, blood pressure, asthma, bones, osteoporosis, anemia, thyroid, hormone production. Used as meat replacement (main course) by many.
