A unit of volume used in the United States for the measurement of liquid substances, equal to ¼ U.S. liquid pint, or to 1.1829411825 × 10^-4cubic meter.

A unit of volume used in the United Kingdom for the measurement of liquid substances, and occasionally of solid substances, equal to ¼ U.K. pint, or to approximately 1.420653125 × 10^-4cubic meter.
