The more complex the key, the harder it is to break the encryption; so AES with a 256-bit key length renders the algorithm unbreakable. The difficulty of cracking an encrypted message is a function of the key length. 0 ensures that all significant cryptographic parameters - symmetric key length, asymmetric key length, digital signature algorithms - are of equivalent strength, as recommended in NIST guidelines. |
