Landau 

the body of a sedan-type passenger car with a top that opens only above the back seats. Formerly a landau was a four-seated carriage with a foldable top and two rows of facing seats. It was named for the German town of Landau, which was famous in the 18th century for the manufacture of various types of carriages by highly skilled carriage-makers.
