A multiple arrangement of boxes for receipt and/or distribution of mail at a central point in a building; mainly used in apartment or office buildings.

The letterboxes started life as mere slots outside post offices and are common in Cardiff and the surrounding areas.
About 40 letterboxes and more than 50 geocaches will be hidden those two days in the Fitchburg and Leominster area.
The device, developed by the new UK Letterbox Choice (UKLC) service in County Durham, promises to put an end to junk mail, fliers and menus being posted through the front door and stops postbox vandalism, such as fireworks being pushed through letterboxes and criminals using hooks and poles to "fish" for keys.
