Intended for petroleum engineers and graduate students, the manual describes the different models of gas lift valves, optimization of continuous flow installations, control of the intermittent gas lifting process, and troubleshooting tools.
On the Lower Wolfcamp test (La Escalera #5-1), gas lift valves were recently installed to lift the natural gas to the surface amid a column of fluid.
Last week, a workover rig was used to install gas lift valves in the 2 3/8" tubing.
