live link

    0.06 sec.

live link

A reference to a document or image that is active. Clicking on the icon or text that symbolizes the link causes the document to be displayed. Web pages contain hypertext links to other Web pages, this feature being the one that made the Web explode onto the scene. Live links are also placed into e-mail, allowing users to quickly open an attached document, access a database or go to a Web site.
