A direction finder used to determine the direction of arrival of loran signals, free of night effect, by observing the separately distinguishable ground and sky-wave loran signals on a cathode-ray oscilloscope and positioning a loop antenna to obtain a null indication of the component selected to be most suitable. Also known as lorad.
