FACT FILE Claudius Ptolemy (TOL-uh-mee), one of the greatest geographers of ancient times, used the earliest form of latitude and longitude lines on his world maps in 127 A.
Dubai, positioned on the 55 * east longitude line, is a little more than just an exotic getaway situated on the North-eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula.
Sometimes they will feature the latitude and longitude lines, but most, if not all, will feature all the political boundaries of all the countries along with a lot of other information that is also really important for them to know like the continents, capitals, mountain ranges, and bodies of water.
