| The patient underwent an uneventful paratracheal and suprasternal lymph node dissection. Stage II disease usually involves complete lymph node dissection with postoperative irradiation of the primary and regional nodal disease sites. Compared to total axillary lymph node dissection and radical mastectomies, the SLN biopsy has been successful in removing much of the trauma and many of the complications for the patient. |
