The system can be programmed to accurately target and disperse deterrents, such as flash bang, tear gas, malodorants, and rubber pellets.
Malodorants are a technology under review at the Nonlethal Environmental Evaluation and Remediation Center at Kansas State University.
These include lethal munitions, such as air defense, artillery, intelligent munitions system (IMS) and nonlethal munitions, such as unattended ground sensors (UGS) and, conceivably, the full range of malodorants and vehicle disablers.
