Mandola 

(mandora, pandura). (1) A stringed musical instrument played by plucking, similar to the lute but smaller.

(2) An alto variant of the mandolin.

I played the mandola and harmonium -- a lot of the kind of weird instruments.
Secondly we were not able to get 500 MW from Mandola power plant since it was out of order.
He has made hobbies of activities which to others would be specialist subjects - he's fluent in Spanish and Scottish Gaelic and plays the guitar, mandolin and mandola.
