Methadone Hydrochloride
(in Russian, Fenadon), a synthetic medicinal preparation whose effect is similar to that of morphine. A white, odorless, crystalline powder that is soluble in water, methadone hydrochloride has analgesic as well as antispasmodic properties. It may be taken in tablet form.
