midomi
A music Web site that enables users to search by voice or text and purchase songs from iTunes and watch related videos. Songs can be searched by singing or humming the tune on the computer or by entering the name of the album, artist or song. The iPhone version also allows the names to be spoken and songs to be recognized by holding the phone to the music and grabbing an acoustic sample. For more information, visit www.midomi.com. See music search and acoustic fingerprint.

Sing, Hum, Say, Grab and Type
The buttons at the bottom of the midomi iPhone screen let users sing or hum the song, say or type the artist, album or track name and grab an audio sample from a song being played.
