At present, polysilicon and monocrystalline silicon dominate the market.
recently in a pilot run made Taiwan's first 600 x 1200mm copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) solar panel boasting a 17% photovoltaic conversion rate, coming close to the 20% rate achieved by monocrystalline silicon wafer.
