00 Hardcover HV6045 The Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) is one of the most often-used personality assessment instruments in criminal justice and corrections, but until now correctional psychologists have had no support materials to help them understand and interpret findings in their unique setting.
However, Holland, Heim and Holt (1976), while not finding any relationship between screening and job performance, did discover Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) profile similarities between officers and inmates.
Similarly, the Myers-Briggs test and the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory, conceived during World War II, have undergone a number of changes to enhance their accuracy, reliability, and validity.
