If software is not an option, a common strategy is to issue individual "network share drives" to laptop users so that they can drag and drop copies of their files to a network drive. When you've finished your selections, click on OK, and the Save As dialog box appears to let you know you need to save the workbook on a network drive where others can gain access to it. Encrypted files can be stored on miniSD storage cards, on the computer's hard drive, on a shared network drive, on an external storage drive, or even on an Internet-accessible storage drive such as Yahoo Briefcase. |
