A tumor resembling primitive medullary epithelium, containing cells of small cuboidal or columnar form with a tendency to form true rosettes, occurring in the retina, central nervous system, and occasionally in peripheral nerves. Also known as diktoma; esthesioneuroblastoma; esthesioneuroepithelioma.
