Among the first symptoms of this ailment are a dry, nonproductive cough.
A 57-year-old Caucasian female with well controlled asthma and gastroesophageal reflux disease presented with a 3-month history of worsening asthma and nonproductive cough, which improved with intermittent systemic steroids however recurred when discontinued.
