Amebae were identified by a nucleus containing a large central nucleolus (Figure 1C, inset).
To avoid duplication, we counted only follicles in which the nucleolus could be seen.
On electron microscopy, the tumor cells contained abundant cytoplasm, irregular nuclei, and a single prominent nucleolus.
