    0.01 sec.

numerati

The people who make predictions based on a numerical analysis of a subject. Coined by Stephen Baker, who wrote "Numerati" in 2008, his book explains how the numerati turn people into numbers to determine their job capabilities, shopping habits, voter preferences and medical indications. It also deals with spotting terrorists, finding a mate and interpreting blog data to determine the success of marketing campaigns. See technorati and jitterati.
