Oil cut its losses yesterday after an earlier fall to a new three-and-a-half-year low under $48 a barrel, weighed down by heavy losses in global stock markets.
Cosmo Oil cuts crude runs TOKYO: Cosmo Oil Co will cut September crude refining runs by 252,000 kilolitres (53,000 barrels per day (bpd)), or 11 per cent, from a year ago, due to planned maintenance and dull domestic demand, Japan's fourth-biggest refiner said.
