Designed to be lightweight, compact and easy to install and operate, the new valves have a range of operating handle options including quarter turn lever, extended stem lever, 'T' handle and lockshield.
Also like the original, when the double-stack, double-feed magazine is empty, the bolt is not held to the rear, although there is a bolt hold-open button on the top side of the operating handle that, when pushed, engages a recess in the receiver.
Further security comes courtesy of unique rear side door panels which have no exterior handles, access to the rear compartment being obtained by opening the front doors and operating handles located on the inner face of the rear doors.
