page breakIn printing, a code that marks the end of a page. A "hard" page break, inserted by the user, breaks the page at that location. | Most of the time this occurs with the change of a chapter, but once the characters are established, only a page break alerts us to a new voice. The first page of each chapter is awkwardly printed: the top half is in large type, the bottom half is in a small font with a page break dividing the two parts. The Auto Page Break feature places page turns in extracted parts in convenient locations and updates them whenever a score is modified. |
